Harvard University is suing President Donald Trump's administration for threatening to withhold federal funding if the school did not comply with its list of demands.
Harvard University announced Monday that it was suing the Trump administration to halt a freeze on more than $2.2 billion in grants after the institution said it would defy the Trump administration’s demands to limit activism on campus.
'Instead, they overtly seek to impose on Harvard University political views and policy preferences advanced by the Trump administration and commit the University to punishing disfavored speech,' plaintiffs wrote.
