Former President Biden signs with Hollywood talent agency CAA Just weeks after leaving office, Joe Biden is laying the groundwork for his post-presidential era in Hollywood.
With an announcement of their recent signing, the co-chairman of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), Richard Lovett, said the agency was “profoundly honored” to have the 82-year-old on their books “President Biden is one of America’s most respected and influential voices in national and global affairs,” Lovett said.
Following his eight-year run as former President Barack Obama’s vice president, Biden signed on with CAA from 2017-2020. During that time, Biden released a book about his son Beau Biden’s battle with cancer, “Promise Me, Dad,” and also went out on a speaking tour across the country that sold 85,000 tickets, the outlet noted. Obama and his wife Michelle Obama’s Higher Ground Productions is also repped by the talent agency.
