Mysterious Object Found on Remote Beach in Western Australia

There was speculation online that the object was connected to MH370, the Malaysia Airlines plane that disappeared in 2014 after flying south over the Indian Ocean. However, the police said that at this “early stage” in their investigation, it did not appear that the debris was from a commercial aircraft.

The object, which is so far unidentified, could be part of a "foreign space launch vehicle", according to a recent tweet by the Australian Space Agency, which also warned locals against handling the large metal object. The object was discovered by locals at Green Head Beach, roughly 155 miles north of Perth.
