26m agoPresident Donald Trump was unable to recall the details of the cognitive test he took as part of his physical Friday—but he assured reporters that he got all the answers right. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One about his annual physical, Trump was asked about the cognitive assessment included in his annual doctor’s visit. While he seemed unable—or unwilling—to recall specific details, he told the press, “It’s a pretty well known test. Whatever it is. I got every one right.”
President Trump said Friday he took a cognitive test during his annual physical, the results of which he said would be released this weekend. Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One traveling to Florida that he thought his exam went well. He said it included heart tests and the cognitive test, which he suggested he took partly as a dig at former President Biden. “Overall I felt I was in very good shape. Good heart. A good soul. Very good soul,” Trump said. “I took — I wanted to be a little different than Biden. I took a cognitive test. I don’t know what to tell you other than I got every answer right.”
He added, "I think it’s a pretty well-known test. Got it all right. I’ve taken the cognitive test, I think, four times and gotten nothing wrong. That’s what the American people want. Biden refused, Kamala refused." He also said that doctors gave him "a little bit" of advice on lifestyle changes that could improve his health without going into detail. Biden’s yearly presidential exam at Walter Reed last year didn’t include a cognitive test.
