Green told Raw Story that Trump has only grown more dangerous after the Supreme Court granted him broad immunity from prosecution for official presidential acts. "He believes he has absolute immunity in all areas," said Green. "And I think that he believes that the Office of the Presidency is something that allows him to do what he chooses with agencies that report to the Executive branch."

The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday to censure Houston Congressman Al Green for disrupting President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress on Tuesday in Washington. The Republican-led House voted 224-198 to censure Green, a Democrat. A censure is a formal statement of disapproval. It doesn’t remove a congress member from office.

I am here to serve the people of the 9th Congressional District. I believe that I have taken this oath that I have taken, and I pledge to do that. I would hope that they wouldn’t. I would not agree with it. But if they do, it’ll give me more time to work on my articles of impeachment.”
