The Clarksville Police Department announced Saturday the Montgomery County Grand Jury indicted 35-year-old Sofia Rodas and Aguilar’s husband, 40-year-old Reynaldo Salinas Cruz.
Dueñas Aguilar, of Mesquite Texas, enlisted in the Army in 2018 and a year later came to Fort Campbell, on the Tennessee-Kentucky border.
On Saturday, Sofia Rodas, 35, was charged with first-degree murder and tampering with evidence in the death of U.S. Army Private First Class Katia Dueñas Aguilar, 23, according to a Clarksville Police Department news release.
