The Trump administration revoked Harvard University’s ability to enroll international students in its escalating battle with the Ivy League school, saying thousands of current students must transfer to other schools or leave the country.
The Trump administration has followed through on its threat to pull Harvard University's ability to enroll and host foreign students unless it gives the federal government information about students in the country on visas.
Harvard can no longer enroll foreign students in the 2025-2026 school year and existing foreign students must transfer or lose their legal status to reside in the U.S. before the next academic year begins.
