He will be remembered with great affection by us all.” Meek’s big break was in 2017’s Baby Driver in the role of Young Baby. He appeared in an episode of MacGyver in 2018 and did VoiceOver work for Badanamu Cadets.
Hudson Meek, a teen actor who appeared in Edgar Wright’s film “Baby Driver,” died on Dec. 22 in Alabama after falling from a moving vehicle. He was 16. “Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight,” read a post on his Instagram account. “His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.” The accident occurred Thursday night in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, according to local news site AL.com.
Hudson Joseph Meek, 16, sustained blunt force injuries after falling out of the vehicle on the evening of Dec. 19 in his hometown of Vestavia Hills, Ala. – located just south of Birmingham. Two days later, the “Baby Driver” actor succumbed to his wounds “peacefully” on Dec. 21. “Our hearts are broken to share that Hudson Meek went home to be with Jesus tonight,” his mother, Lani Wells Meek, posted on her Facebook page. “His 16 years on this earth were far too short, but he accomplished so much and significantly impacted everyone he met.” The Vestavia Hills Police Department is investigating how the incident occurred, the local NBC affiliate WVTM reported.
