31m agoPresident Donald Trump on Monday explicitly threatened Hamas after the militant group paused plans to release more of the Israeli hostages it holds this weekend, telling reporters that “all hell is going to break out” if all of the Israeli hostages held by the group aren’t freed by noon on Saturday.
Hamas said Monday it would delay the further release of hostages in the Gaza Strip after accusing Israel of violating a fragile ceasefire that now faces its most serious crisis since it began three weeks ago.
The next release of hostages was due to take place on Saturday and would have seen another three Israelis, taken hostage in the 7 October 2023 attacks, freed by Hamas.
