Accused mushroom cook Erin Patterson "deliberately poisoned" her relatives with "murderous intent" at a lunch held at her house almost two years ago, prosecutors have argued in court. A court heard opening arguments on Wednesday in Ms Patterson's triple murder trial, which is underway in the Latrobe Valley courthouse in the Victorian town of Morwell. Crown prosecutor Dr Nanette Rogers SC opened her case when the jury resumed sitting, while Ms Patterson's barrister Colin Mandy SC also gave a brief opening address to the court.
